Driven by a strong work ethic and the desire to represent victims of criminal injustice, Ward Maedgen has established a successful trial practice in North Texas, including the cities of Dallas, Denton and McKinney, however he does try cases statewide. Mr. Maedgen’s practice is focused on DWI, BWI, DUI and various other complex criminal matters pending in both state and federal courts. Mr. Maedgen honed his trial skills during many years as a prosecutor in the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. During the course of his career, Mr. Maedgen has tried well over a hundred cases, in various counties throughout the State. His experience as a lead trial lawyer in criminal defense cases has provided Mr. Maedgen with valuable insight into jury trial strategy, cross-examination, and expert testimony.

His extensive trial background both as a former prosecutor and as a criminal defense lawyer has taught Mr. Maedgen how the other side builds a case, therefore he knows how to tear it apart from the inside.
